From The Arid Sands

There's not much to the beginning of this man's story. No one remembers the beginning, other than suddenly making memories by the time he was just a small child.

Scrappy and nearly starved to death, it was only by the help of his twin sister that they managed to survive in the outskirts of Southern Thanalan. Found by a traveling Miqo'te caravan, him and his sister would be taken in by an older U tribe woman.

Returning to the Sagolii desert with him and his sister, she raised them in her care until she disappeared entirely from their lives due to unknown circumstances.

Pledged To The City

Considering both were about their teens, making their way to U'dah was a trial in of itself. Lambert and his sister found that their hands were good on a blade and a shield, so their adventure would start at the Gladiators Guild. Doing odd jobs, quests and the occasional guard assisting, they started their journey as sellswords.

An odd request from an acting Royalist supporter, led to a chance run-in with a Sultansworn Elite. The request turned out to be a mission to stop a conspiracy that would've surely led a huge blow to the Sultana and her supporters.

In part, thanks to Lambert and his sister, recommendations and high regards were given after completing their mission thus paving their way into being accepted into the Sultansworn.

Taking hold of this open door, they soon found their way to becoming knights, then eventually, officers of the Order.

Hooks

Royalist/Monetarist Conflict - Watching, listening, and breathing the air of Ul'dah, Lambert is known for his shrewdness, resolve and yet bold nature when it comes to combating the ever embroiling fight between the Royalist's and the Syndicate. Have something related to the fight? He'll be more than willing to listen, or even assist if asked.

Crime And You - Considered his status within Ul'dah society, his organization and his position with Ul'dah Law enforcement may require him to act upon certain crimes within the city (Consent or participation can be asked). Drug rings, slavery, mass murder, assassination's, or occasional conspiracy, consider the Captains attention properly pulled.

Relationships And Romance - There's one thing about being either on guard or prowling through the court, his ears will point particularly to this information if said or mentioned to him. Either political or true love, he'll definitely have a word or two regarding it.

Mammetry, Tailoring, and Goldsmithing - Happen to work in any of these fields, or need someone that has these skills? Lambert will certainly want to know. Considered his hobby, he can take work or discuss it general should anyone want.

Booze!!! - Know a lot about how to brew alcohol? Happen to know someone who does? Lambert would like to know. Mainly because he'll either talk shop or actually want to try out whatever they are making. Bootlegging, high class wine, or simple homebrew ales and spirits, find that he can most certainly give a word or two on the subject.

Sultansworn and recruitment - Considering his position, talking about or discussing the Sultansworn in anyway will get his attention, whether good or bad. But even more, have someone interested or wanting to become one? He'll be the one to vouch or even take a look. Might throw in a finders fee if the recruit works out well...

Thanks for taking the time to look at Lamberts Carrd! Been in the RP scene for over a year now, so I'm always willing to learn and participate. Currently on a 9-6 CDT schedule so if you wanna setup RP scenes, doing so in advance is an preferred option.

Lambert is a work in progress always, so things might change in the future regarding him or events that might alter his background slightly.
